Saro Puttu, a specialty belonging to Kerala, a food variety ideal for both breakfast and evening tea. Rice flour along with toppings of grated coconut is steamed in a special long container for a certain period and thus results Puttu, a simple delicacy every South Indian is addicted to. Puttu is popularly taken with a gram curry or with bananas. In the North of Kerala, the Malayali’s relish the Puttu with a variety of non-vegetarian dishes.
