Saro Neyyappam, a sweet delicacy from South India, a must
in all traditional festivals and a food item that has won
the heart of every South Indian. Considered to be an all
time snack, it fills one’s stomach apart from providing
fine taste. The Neyyappam is prepared from mixing flour with
jaggery and spices. The fine spices tease the flour and when
cooked in hot ghee, the Neyyappam becomes a fine reddish
brown, which can then be had along with tea or coffee.
HEATING INSTRUCTIONS
For Conventional Cooking
Remove the contents from the pack, defrost for
a few minutes and place over a hot frying pan for 2 minutes.
Serve hot or cold with tea, coffee or any beverage.
For Microwave or Conventional Oven
Thaw the product to room temperature, remove
the contents from the pack, microwave the product for 20-30
seconds or heat the product in a pan for one minute. Serve
hot, do not refreeze once thawed product. Keep the frozen
product refrigerated.
