Saro Puttu, a specialty belonging to Kerala, a food variety
ideal for both breakfast and evening tea. Rice flour along
with toppings of grated coconut is steamed in a special long
container for a certain period and thus results Puttu, a simple
delicacy every South Indian is addicted to. Puttu is popularly
taken with a gram curry or with bananas. In the North of Kerala,
the Malayali’s relish the Puttu with a variety of non-vegetarian
dishes. Very healthy in preparation, Puttu provides a number
of Keralites with the ideal way to start their day.
HEATING INSTRUCTIONS
For Conventional Cooking
Remove the contents from the pack, defrost for
a few minutes and steem in an idily cooker or pressure cooker
with hot pressure stopper for for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot with
any dish of your choice.
For Microwave or Conventional Oven
Thaw the product to room temperature, remove
the contents from the pack, microwave the product for 20-30
seconds or heat the product in a pan for one minute. Serve
hot, do not refreeze once thawed product. Keep the frozen
product refrigerated.
